This is the 4th time I had to write this intro cuz I ain't get it right Perfectionist Divorce really brought it to the light Too suburban for the hood But too dark for whites Was addicted to the gram Overdosing on the likes I got too much to say I'm a talker This life done aged me good Where's my walker I'm a bully on the mic Where's your locker Where's your lunch Bullied in my youth Now I'm writing hits Sucker punch And the smell of envy extra pungent I'm tired of these pundits They say I'm the best but that's redundant Cuz it's written in the function I've been living in a cave Now I'm living no decay Now I'm just tryna get paid For the things that I been saying For enduring all the pain So I can go back to the younger me and say it's all ok young blood It hurts today But tomorrow you'll be loved That's on one At 18 I was homeless 19 I was hopeless And now that I'm grown I'm writing my Magnus Opus Sometimes you lose focus to see what you got And no I'm not religious But I gotta thank the gods And no I'm not religious Yea that's gonna hurt my pops The son of a preacher Yea the pressure was a lot It's like everyone I loved tried to put me box No more pushing this boulder to the mountain top I'm done
