Solace

I am the lonely wanderer The insecure one Always chased by my own demons I can't find a place to rest Tell me that I'll be fine And I wouldn't Believe you As my life is such a struggle I'd like to end it all Tell me you'll stay with me As the Earth splits. And I'll tell you to run away From the self destructive demon I am now I've been searching for an answer I've been searching for an exit From reality. Is it supposed to end like this With my dead body slowly swinging hanged to a rope No After all the shit I've been through After every step I took to move forward I think I finally found a place to call home A place where Hope is the fuel to the fire A place where I can breathe This is where I'll find solace Solace This is the end of my pain The start of a new day The beginning of a new era The swan song from the "old me" I found a new hope A Reason to fight for I can feel my heart beat again And my lungs being filled with air The wings have grown From the scars on my back The seed has grown To a beautiful tree And I can not look back And go down to Hell again 'Cause my place is by your side In your heart I will find my peace
