In poetry she hid me but I forgot her words And the mentioning of our history should just be bittersweet But no it still hurts What does for always mean to you You gave up on me Let this all be a dream You gave up on me You taught me what abandonment means You gave up on me I only gave you everything Now inside screaming It really is a disease dreaming And I can't count as high as everything that I'm feeling I must've swallowed your tidal wave Cause I'm trying to digest dead awake Was I torn up by or just a part of your hurricane I can feel the water in my eyes start to give away They could've drowned the promises you must've known that you'd break Whatever you say You gave up on me Let this all be a dream You gave up on me You taught me what abandonment means You gave up on me I only gave you everything Reset then disconnect Everything is always only temporary I've lost count of the places I've hid But you won't find me seeking Patience and practice Not pretending to fake this I don't want the end But to again begin Again
