I Can Smell You

I close my eyes in an attempt to sleep But the walls push on me harder Dark visions and thoughts surround me And with every breathe I take, I feel hunger  Feels so good Taste of another blood on my lips But something has changed Why can't I feel calm inside?  Every second Feels like forever Is that the shadow that I saw a while ago?  Is this redemption coming for me?  I'm not afraid already  Just take my life away I'm cursed from that moment When I was born With every year my pain grows I put myself in a case and threw away the key And only the beast is alive now I am a mistake Please just take my life now I won't hurt the others again Oh mighty lord I'm ready for an ascension Praying for mercy Though I never believe Need wings to fly But hell is catching my legs  Cold sharp blade is near my neck I feel the breath on the back of my head Gentle move from left to right And I'm calm at last
