I watch the stars fall from the sky As the universe begins to die And Mother Earth has tears in her eyes Through a black hole I travel through time I alter history, events realign With slight of hand I make the moments mine I am a shadow that stalks the years A bedtime tale told to make you fear I have the power to make you disappear Throughout history I've had many names God & devil I'm one and the same And when there's trouble you know that I'm to blame I unravel the fabric of space On which the laws of physics are based Galaxies I've erased without trace Into the future and back to the past Nowhere in time is safe from my grasp Death & chaos I wear them like a mask Time Vortex & Tempo Change I nudged an asteroid and the dinosaurs die Shot the arrow into King Harold's Eye I steered Titanic to a watery grave Watched Atlantis sink beneath the waves I was the shooter on the Grassy Knoll I gave the pills to Marilyn Monroe I stood with Nero and watched Rome burn Made sure Challenger never returned Erased the crew of the Marie Celeste Pressed the button on the first nuclear test I shook the ground 'til San Francisco fell Caused the meltdown at Chernobyl I led the way to the Pearl Harbour attack I Put the knife into Caesar's back I Swatted Earhart out of the sky I Melted his wings when Icarus tried I dropped a cigarette on the Hindenburg Seen the human race get what it deserved I've witnessed the final holocaust When your planet is finally lost
