Trying not to slip on the ice Trying to keep the pace Trying to keep the shadows far from here... Check the closet, beneath the bed There are no monsters now But when I close my eyes, they reappear . . . God in Heaven, help me now I try to be strong but I don't know how I need Your voice to calm these fears Hold onto You and hold back the tears Too many things to set aside Too much I can't control Too overcoming to withstand alone... Your Word says I'll never face More than I can bear This is the hardest time I've ever known...
