I can't speak, I can't hear It's all that I fear I can't sleep, I can't wake I can't help but feel fake I can't move, I can't feel Is this real? I can't think, I can't find I've really lost my mind Trapped, surrounded I feel the insects crawl, all around Up and down my skin Tiny bites tearing at my flesh I've lost consciousness The noises in my head Telling me to quit I'll walk forward Hoping my candle stays lit Darkness has overcome my being Consuming all of me Darkness has overcome my being Consuming all of me The only way out, out of this hell Is to become one, one with myself Watch all the ashes blow away And all of this suffocate The fire cleanses me, to burn away all of these memories
