Strange Lights

Strange lights rise out of the weather The desert plain Strange voice vibrating the windows It knows my name Stretching hands out as though To a flame, watching skin Commit a change, and this burn Makes me the same, and all the Shutters close hard, they splinter All across yards, and now they're Carrying cards, I see I read from a thousand feet above Go, something unknown Take all they have shown This place was always old Burn it off clean, getting showered in headlights Same voice now coming on back finds me On this floor They'll find no window to break No collapse to implore Undesigned hands, as though Never planned, and I don't Understand, someone grows Out of the telephone, and I command this mirage to Take a shape, cut collage Into a snake, but it won't budge I can't make it slither like the silhouette figure Go, and stay alone Take just what they've shown This place, what's it got left I can't, oh I can't see I'm not trying to leave here
