Summer's over Losing light Winter's early Frost will bite Come December Forward March Running blindly Through the dark I don't know When last I've seen the night so long When last I've seen the right so wrong And such despair in newfound clarity In the snow Angels in the snow so white And some have made it to the sky While the rich folks ask for charity In an endless winter Close the windows Shut the blinds Pray the wind blows Past these times Bring the famine Bring the feast Some will flourish Some will freeze I don't know When last I've seen a justice served When last I've seen a lesson learned And the movies weren't our prophecies All I know Is every day the sun is rising Even days when it's in hiding There's an end to all the suffering In this endless winter
