Lunar Spirits

It's strange how I am Like a memory happening only in my mind When the first woman I was And the moon lay hidden in a cold night I was walking down a valley and through the darkness of the forest Which pierced my thoughts and filled me with fear But suddenly I was above water Where others like me in the reflection I discovered They took my hand with a smile on their face Filling me with their own love They showed me how to dance and we swayed Until the moon showed up and made us float Shining through us Indescribable colors we become Transparent changing shapes To the sky ascend I finally understand we're not just that or this But everything in between Like drops of water on the moon we sprout Sometimes a little less defined Connected to love On our emotions we dance Some like to fly with them Or some others in them get immersed We inspire the daring one staring through the trees In the moonlight reflecting on the seas Over the clouds And next to the stars We are everywhere A hidden language few can read We hold the secrets of the universe That just like whispers we kiss and tell With closed eyes we remain intertwined Into spaces that have yet to be seen We are part of this dark place Revealed to the brave eyes that know how to look deep And jump into the void of their own abyss Where magic lies And ignorance dies We give everything away Cause we know we are part of this Of the ocean of dreams Where we give ourselves birth
