Walking through the pouring rain on new year`s afternoon Places I had seen in vain, I see them passing soon Folks sit in the corner there, a joyful song they sing Getting closer makes it clear - they are not from here They`re strangers in a foreign land - for another year For another year A duck is laughing in the park, it is slowly gettin` dark Swans are picking in the grass and as I`m walking on I ask Is this our home, why do we roam, where do we go from here ?
