smoke and mirrors

Spent my life running from the smoke and mirrors I've made Most the time I sit and try to find the words to make them go away But I can't seem to let got of this façade Because in my mind that's all that's left of me So I'm sorry for the confusion if you get too close Through all this smoke and mirrors I must look like a ghost of myself If you saw me would you stay and help I know its a hell but my heart built this for its health Hurt too many times my head said it's enough My heart just wants to fight it When can the show shut off But I can't seem to let got of this façade Because in my mind that's all that's left of me So I'm sorry for the confusion if you get too close All this smoke and mirrors are just my only hope If you saw me I might be compelled Because inside this mess is where my heart hides away from myself
