Glass Box.

I'm not here to impress I am here to express Mud slowing pace while embracing my true depth I'll never forget I'll never forget Where I went The time I spent Locked inside myself Trying not to fret But I wasn't myself I couldn't be me In my Glass Box Inward communication No way of speaking out or making an impression Glass can be smashed But not when it's internalised oppression Can't even see my reflection Was I an artefact to be looked at Or a simple representation Some kind of participation To this generation That's a question I'm not supposed to be kept in I wasn't born to be locked I look down at my feet and see that I'm stuck But I'm more than that I'm lost You'd be surprised at how hard it is to see through glass That's so clear Because my mind's a fog My mind's a fog All good things must come to an end I can't pretend Not all endings are good An end to come Must all things be good No shoes No socks Just bare feet In a Glass Box
