Awakening The Dawn

Like an arrow we are shot into the atmosphere Aiming at the sun Wings spread wide Surfacing over the canvases of ancient stories Which are still told by its inhabitants The earth is submerged in white As we're gliding through a milky foam Covered by the naked air Melodies are poured out like water Singing mountains Mourning valleys Shouting rivers Humming trees Still few know how to listen Colors are battling over the kingdom of the horizon Blue and red are crashing merciless into each other Each one eager to hold their position To keep their lines strong Not to give in As the winner rises from the reflected sunlight Glorious beams out of nowhere Timeless, yet victorious only for a glimpse Pink streams with no ending nor beginning Put on royal garments Only to be stripped again by a greater force A divine darkness is about to cast its enormous wings of sleep Over the fallen race Soaring over the edge of time Infinity Once again to overrule and reign for the night Fear not child Fear not The eyes of heaven are not closed
