I can say that this world's gone insane Because they're blaming their disdain on a popular charade That never really gives them relief How much more can we take When they're raising the stakes Just to frustrate the main attraction Who'd have left it to fate for them to discriminate And to proselytize our nation Yet we can't even compete Jagged puzzle pieces that they've laid Is sure to run up the score on a pity play Exercising their rights to exploit our lives While we try to make a point With no dice to play It's not okay to say that we've got it made While we're spending our lives as pawns in their game Cause there's something hiding up their sleeve Showing an ace As you pick up the pace While we're running in a rat race Towards a distant prize that flashes before your eyes Never knowing it leads to your demise Jagged puzzle pieces that they've laid Is sure to run up the score on a pity play Exercising their rights to exploit our lives While we try to make a point With no dice to play
