They say he likes to play It's a hobby we try to say Teachers voice can be heard But to me it's all absurd With music I'm sure to nurture With euphoria there is no future I understand what they say But without music my life is grey The struggle within I know the right way But music is a sin if I only wish to play It's the hole in the sole that's left inside Working from nine to five with no wings to fly I chase the dreams of few No other choice what's left to do The tunes lure me in A wilderness I dwell within Desperate to impress in music I progress But to push and pray tends to scare it away Now I can see there's is no guarantee My blood runs cold to have nothing when I'm old Well win of lose it's music I choose Because when I play the pain goes away Rain hail or shine the music is my shrine For the love of music I play night and day
