It was a beautiful day To walk over the bay The smell of salt in the air The cold wind in your hair Sacred and mundane I wish there was time I wish there was hope The grains of sands will fall As do the rest of us all Into the water below As the minutes went by You felt the salt in your eyes Getting sick of the breeze Smells like death from the seas I've always hated goodbyes Do you see through Pink clouds in view?
