I can feel the redwoods leaning in Their limbs are reaching out to graze my skin I can hear the ocean cross the shore The waves are coming close to each my feet I can see the towers scrape the sky From this far away they look so small I take the elevator to the clouds And as I look across the city sky I know I have arrived I don't want to leave this place behind It's been my dream for years to visit here The towers are fading away They're so far away from me I guess that's okay with me The trees are looking kind of small Even though they're over ten feet tall I guess that's okay with me I can't feel the ocean breeze Why'd I have to go and leave? I can see the towers scrape the sky I can smell the ocean breeze and feel those redwood trees And as I lay my head tonight to sleep I know I will be In the clouds Above the sound Of oceans loud 'Cause I'll always have my dreams
