I stay up late when it's night to escape, most Of these folks ain't the type to relate though I don't really want a line of that yayo But they insist every time that I say no And when I drink, well I get a bit reckless Liquor loves to get up in my head like a temptress So I bike to the park where the bench is Writin' rhymes in the dark cause I'm restless Hear the breeze in the leaves as they're rustlin' And people on the street always fiendin' for somethin' I'm pedalin' fast 'til I'm wheezin' and puffin' Headin' down a dirt road, breathin' the dust in Head rockin' to the beat and I'm hummin' Livin' life on the eve of destruction 80 Proof booze and I'm eagerly chuggin' But any sign of RCMP and I'm duckin' I hate my phone but I need it to function Ringers always off but I feel when its rumblin' I'll hit you back in a minute, I chat then I always leave ya hangin' in a similar fashion Sorry but I'm just a loner, if you didn't know Its probably cause I'm never I'm sober when I hit up shows Most the time I chill at home, focused in a zone Where I sit alone, so devoted to my little poems Life is short, gotta stop and take a look around And severe ties with the ones that wanna put you down F*ck the rumours that they write on the walls United we stand but divided we fall Right now I'm like a monkey in a zoo exhibit With a new fitted, actin' like a human in it This is dedicated to the self-medicated Feelin' lost in their life and never knew what they were doin' with it Who's Up?
