Chains of the past, rusted and worn, Echoes of pain, the nights forlorn. I was a prisoner, lost in the dark, A soul on fire but missing that spark. But then the sky split wide with thunder and light, A voice like lightning, breaking the night. He called my name, said Rise and be free, The weight is gone, now I can breathe! Exodus! The fire ignites! Marching forward, into the light! Exodus! No turning back! Grace has won, I'm on the attack! Pharaohs of fear, voices of doubt, Tried to hold me, tried to take me out.
