I miss my friends because we use to have fun Enjoying summer break and it just begun Sometimes we FaceTime At times we text I'll be at a new school in August So let's see what's next Some kids catch the bus some kids walk to school Some kids get dropped off just like I do Some kids wear uniforms and some plain clothes But while we're at school we all learn and grow I'm a little nervous for the first day of school I have to meet a new teacher and follow the rules I go the bed early and I wake up too I hope I have some cool kids in my class like you Can't wait til it's over I'm watching the clock It's been 11:05 all day on the dot I want to go home so I can take a nap On my shoulder while I'm sleeping I feel a tap It's my mom and she says that it's time for school And I look out the window cause right now I'm confused I just got home 60 minutes ago Now it's time for school do you believe me?
