Where has it Gone

Can't believe we've come this far I don't even know who we are Sometimes I sit and wonder Just asking myself Where has it gone Everywhere we turn to Every time we look People of the world are reporting all the thing they see and hear The minute news is breaking They got nothing else to do with that information I remember as a little child I was blinded by the sights and sounds Playing in an endless fantasy Things are so much different now We have our meetings in the cloud Virtual reality We are dying from the knowledge base In a non existent human race Photographs for memories There is murder rape and suicide With the fear there no place to hide Where have all of these things gone Poor little child All along You knew the answer Deaf and dumb Always beaten by the cancer
