My plea; that you would never sever me; Deal with me with severity Cast me not, don't cut me off. Though I am a branch, may I never rot I will not wither, nor be thrown to fire I bear your image, apart from you I am nothing I bear your image, I live with your shadow over me I am of wind, consciousness as consequence My movement is zoetic in your existence I am the mother for you to find solace, I remain in you, my home to find rest When flesh is silent, I speak for you, in communion, my mind is in you When you grieve, I will grieve by you. When you weep, I will weep with you
