I grew up watching fairytale movies all by myself And I dream of someday fallin' in your arms And I know it sounds cliche' to want a prince just like them But when I met you I thought my prince was you But the moon stopped shining like it was When I saw you wake her up with a kiss I thought you said everything was fine So I guess that make me your once upon a time And she's your happily ever after The clock struck twelve but you were the one who ran You looked at her and you let go of my hand I thought you said you were mine I knew those butterflies were lies But the flowers have long wilted away When I saw you take her to my dream place I would have never said goodbye So I guess that makes me your once upon a time And she's your happily ever after
