Dear God Why was I made this way Dear God So the question remains Am I still innocent in some small way When all these states Oh how they push and they shove They make me scream at the top of my lungs As if I'm falling in and out of love And while the heavens remain Tantalizing me with their prospect of faith That its our burdens that make us great And through my cries of shame I hear them laughing for I have yet to feel true pain Saying "God makes no mistakes."
