So disappear Fade into obscurity But don't forget to leave a message at the tone Won't even pick up the phone For it's just me here alone Inside my own mind Neutrality in kind If you're so inclined To give me A listen I hope you're not dismissing Take a second in your day for reminiscing Don't lack no inhibitions Cause we're all on a mission This is no repetition Laying in dark rooms With cranked volumes To spark tunes And resume With me too Don't confuse Misconstrued Simple cycle my own disciple beyond recitals If I Can't reach beyond the tidal How will I ever find my wave? Can't write if my mind behaves Unlocked cage My own page Of what becomes of consciousness post-rage When it's all sage What else can you do when the thoughts don't swim around?
