Hues Of New

Walking near the water's edge my bare feet in the Sand I often wonder what I can't seem to understand Reflections on the surface mirror all those little Times I was so adamant on searching for what I would Never find But now I see These new things are growing around me Far as the eye can see These new things are forming around me Keep on marching Through the hills and the tide Make my path this way Nothing's wrong or right Stars will shine And I will too These hues, I know They are true Walking in the streets I feel so small and so alone Holding on to your past I've never truly grown Hour after hour day after day I know now it all cannot stay The sounds of pain It's all just temporary Show me mystery Answers I'll find and keep Out of odds And out of my Mind My Fear is gone its left behind And I'll run faster towards the light These hues of new They are mine
