Eyes are open Cloudy and swollen Death comes quicker Lost in this space Truth for the taking Drowning in this haze Surrealist perceptions Swirling and swirling and swirling - Delirium Swirling - swirling - swirling - Delirium What of my Self in this uncertain reality? Where shall my projections travel? I don't believe in this reality, this false visor of lies I reject the dictation that this is all that there truly is Mind and body weakened Another existential plane Detached from this chaotic realm Eager to leave all behind Focus restrained A waking dream Am I now the living dead? Imprisoned in this state I'm longing for the chance To undo this mess But in all of my hindsight Is that what I truly want?? Delirium, oh sweet delirium One step closer to home
