Raised in the church son of a pastor I never wanted to leave cuz the world was like hazard Satan tried to confuse me but he was just an imposter Offered money, sex, and drugs but I knew none would make me happier God has always been victorious and the devil's been a loser But he will always be a hater Knowing his end will come later And I'll always trust in God As our relationship get's deeper On this race I will go faster 'Til the day I see my Master Jesus Jesus I'm never going back no Never going back to the past Never goin back to the old me With my God I'm runnin full blast And there's nothin on this earth that can stop me The things of this world won't last Just serving my God is fulfilling I praise Him when I rise; when I crash Cuz everything I do is for His glory So when I come into His presence I just wanna praise Him And lift Him high to the sky cuz He's so amazing And Imma praise Him morning, night, and all through the evening When life is good and even when it's sinking Jesus came, died and rose just to save my soul And now all that I can do is make His name known I walk with The Lord I am never alone So back to the past, I will never go Jesus Jesus I'm never going back The world may never change me With drugs, sex, and philosophies Life better without God? You got to be kidding me You just got to just listen to me And finally see That only through He Can you be washed clean From all your wrong deeds Please, you just got to believe Don't be deceived by that trash on TV The media is all about nothing but greed Money and power is what they wish to achieve So don't believe those things Will ever bring you peace "If I could just smoke some weed Maybe then I'll be feliz Asi Es la Vida who cares about eternity" But that is a lie from beast Please never be a cause for a feast A celebration from the beast For finally devouring one of the weak sheep Jesus Jesus I'm never going back Jesus Jesus I'm never going back
