Glimmer Of Hope

2019 I don't wanna go back to that day I had them bad feelings I started going off astray Tried not to lose my way Tried not to, but I just lost my faith I found true hope only by God's grace I was losing all up to this opposition I never deserved to be in that kind of position I questioned my purpose and wondered if I was a Christian God gave me hope, and this time I didn't miss it God, I'm so grateful You came and saved my life Cause I don't know where I would have been tonight Only by Your love do I have 20/20 sight I always turn to You for hope on my darkest of nights Turning pages of this past I don't wanna go back Lost my trust in you, God, I don't wanna go back If you ask me where I was, I was out breaking bad But thank God I made it out of that Now here we are in the present and I'm so grateful Without you God, I would've ended up so hateful And without you Lord, I would've been unfaithful Who am I though without You God, I'd be unstable You took me out of the water You took me out of my ways You became my Heavenly Father And then You showed me grace And I don't know where I would be in life If You didn't come in my life You gave me a glimmer of hope You became my ultimate light
