Prelude

I ask myself, what’s the point in trying? I’m just gonna end up alone, cold, and crying So I’ll stick to my pen, focus on my writing And try to expose these feelings I’m hiding I can lie and say that inside I’m dying But I’ve been dead there’s no point in lying My soul’s been lost, not sure how I’m surviving And I’ve lost all hope that someone would revive me
