I've seen many moons I wish more sunsets I've healed all my wounds but there's more yet to come I've heard all the breeze laughed with all the trees Heard the birds singing louder than they used to be I've had many joys but much more heartbreak Give my all to boys who end up skinning me alive I wait everyday for that call to worship anyone who gives me a space in their mind or their time All my life I have searched for answers and wanted more with time Every song and every dancer painted pictures through my mind I didn't know where to go how to flow down my rivers stream Where do I fall if that's all I can see I've tasted many tears and my favorite sweetness Throughout all my years strawberry tastes the same I miss the sound of laughter in the morning watching cartoons Now I'm drinking in the evening and I don't even wake up till noon All my life I have prayed for someone to wake me up each day To know all their shows all their places their wants is that okay Is it too much to ask to be wanted not just needed around And I'm sorry I'm still growing up I tried to hard to feel found All my life I have made my music like bleeding from a wound Now I can feel it in perfect condition shining from me through you I've seen many moons but you're my sunset
