Forest fire fumes Roll through this house The sky is blood orange And the silence is loud Nature is raging And taking its course With all that it gives, It has little remorse Born is a new age, Blazing and bold Hard to forget And so hard to hold If there is an end, Though I'm not sure there is Let it be whatever it is Fate has come knocking And she waits at my door With little respect And books filled with lore She leaves me no choice And sits in the sun So close I could taste it And so far I could run
