Seasonal Depression

Look, used to prefer the winter cold, it left me numb to the world It's so much harder to see tears fall when they instantly froze I wish for summers filled with snow, but now my parents getting old, I see their joints Hurt I'll take the heat to let them indulge Spent too much money filling holes I thought were emptied when those Expectations never met, I shouldn't dwell, yeah I know But how you wrestle with regret, the scoreboard look one I'm trying to come to terms with sickness as my people get on Ain't scared of Armageddon, I'm scared of losing all my feeling when this armour get On Last year I lost a couple people, thought my heart would get on, but learnt it doesn't You really just start dealing, hope that feeling even partially gone Sometimes I have to pause to catch myself Mum lost her best friend, I lost my first love, and Steven lost a battle with his mental I wish I could've been there every time, me too, but think I'll never get the chance again I hope this winter's harder than yeah
