We so close-minded these days I hope my kids Don't have to deal with the things of today Every person has there problems I'm not saying I can solve em I'm just saying with love and open minds We can lift a helping hand to the fallen But when the fallen come to us We turn our heads in disgust Won't even let the homeless man to the sermon Police are taking righteous lives Then don't even bat an eye Got some poor black woman crying That she got pulled over scared to lose her life Together we can change the world Together we can make a plan Just lend out a helping hand Then we won't have others like that girl Successful as one We will cherish every moment that comes Can't we see that the help we need comes from each other?
