Dreams Money Can't Buy

I made some mistakes I can’t even fix wit I apologize It’s revelation inside of me I hide wit a pile of lies I got some dreams inside of me money can’t even seem to buy And I can see the things that money just can never seem to hide I’m stressing over a couple of things in my past I can’t control And I’m lookin forward to a future I’m hopin will soon unfold The truth is inside of me and the beauty seems to be in the beholder Girl I got some things I wanna tell you I’m hopin you come over You was always the popular girl back from our high school And I was just the guy in the corner livin off the golden rule I know the only way to go is up and I’m hopin to fly I had to start with baby steps man but now I’m startin to stride I had a drunk man stop me on the street when he pulled me aside He said that I should let go of all my toxic envy and pride Wise words from an unfortunate soul I guess we really never know how the unfortunate folds That’s prolly why I’m fittin in these shoes so I can tell how it goes I got a dream money can never bloom that’s why I’m the rose Just the other day I’m havin a one on one wit da man himself We just talked about a couple ties that seemed to severe itself The way that you raised me man I could never try and say I regret it And all the lessons you ever showed me man I could never forget it I been the go to man for niggas that I can’t even go to And I been holdin weight for problems that I cant even go through I got an angel on my shoulders or man this luck is amazin Movin like it’s somethin to prove or least how I been behavin Fallin off or fallin back never I’m already a ways in I’ll always be a step ahead even if I take a vacation It feels like I’m the only one that’s ever got somethin to give It feels like it’s killin me inside when I’m just constantly tryna live I hope to live on so I can tell how it goes I got a dream money can never bloom that’s why I’m the rose
