Why do I deceive myself Even if it hurts inside Why do I treat me like this This is the time the cold begins And the sun darkens Who'll save me from myself Demons awake from darkness Where they waited and hid furtive Their claws are sharp their words are rogue Nestled in my thoughts I though I had locked away all the thoughts That remind me of all bad of this world But now I can no longer close my eyes again It's time to face your demons all alone this time A damn war that rages In a world ruled by fucking scumbags You better find a way of endurance Of this patriarchal destructive and violent world And the sun shines in my heart I save myself From my demons I have torn apart I found my faith Resist I draw my strength from my memories of better days Where I had quality time with my partners in crime Everyday outside in the fucking nature Enjoy the calm before the next storm Esteem these warm nights Which free my mind This is what gives me full strength Dark times ahead All the light is gone That talked me down Why does cold last so long Demons of cold In my specialized hell So I just bear the raging blaze in my heart Selflove is the way out of my infernal part Finally the bright light returns They clean my mess I survived And the sun shines in my heart I save myself From my demons I have torn apart I found my faith You must run you must run Out of nowhere If you want to save yourself In this light my dreams are within reach A new chapter begins
