There's a long line of books I've been told to read Films I've got to watch And sight I've got to see I've got to hit the road I've got to plant a tree And somewhere in the dark I'll let the answer find me I've got to fall in love I've got to hit the ground I've got to sit in silence And listen to the sound You tell what's going It'll come around That today I'm lost But one day I'll be found Somewhere in the desert They say you'll find gold Hidden 'neath the surface Where the water is old And out in California Where the waves are green You'll never be heard And you'll never be seen So listen to the music In between the notes Or the words on page That they never wrote They say that there's knowledge Hidden six below So I'm sitting here Waiting on the grass to grow
