My old convention void is eating me alive Wires on my face won't match these circles drawn around my eyes I tried to trust in the process for the predetermined results Just some political project where you get condemned before your mind's made up And I've taken long enough to decide I bought a five dollar cold brew to keep me company while I work Failing to spell some anglicized word from the other half of the world I feel the constructs of language when all my thoughts come out the same I keep signature messy because I just don't know if that's really my name I kept a log of all that's said to me I get so tired of being my enemy I lie to myself, they lie to me, because it's easier when we agree And I can't trust myself And everything is easy Laced up my sewer water sneakers and I started for the door Hum to myself some old showtune like "Oh!
