My Friends Are Dead

I heard a voice in my head the other day  It started out quietly whispering to me  It told me it could show me how to live  It told me all it takes is to give in a tiny bit  I asked myself where is it coming from?  Then suddenly there is another one  It tells me that I'm stupid that I'm dumb  I shouldn't trust no one  And that it brings danger (danger) Cause he is a stranger (stranger) And we don't trust liars (liars) We're starting a riot  Oh My friends are all dead  My friends are in my head My friends are all dead   Oh, they have gone to bed long before it's time  My friends are nowhere to find I listen to that voice as it went on  Then suddenly there is a third one  It tells me all the other ones are wrong  And sings the lyrics to my favourite song  I make it stop as well but then I think  If I can hear them all then who's listening?  I'm questioning the unquestioned mind  That leads me downwards spiralling  To chaos and danger (danger) And I am the stranger (stranger) And I can trust no one (no one) I turn and they're all gone Oh My friends are all dead  My friends are my head My friends are all dead   Oh, they have gone to bed long before it's time  My friends are nowhere to find I say no They say yes There's another one in my head  Who are you?
