Lookin for truth in the light Means more in the middle of night Askin' the sky which way right To see another day shine I wonder what I’d find If wisdom was always my guide But the cost to sharpen my mind Is a bit more of my time Not knowin' how much left Ain't no reason to not do my best Standin' on reason’s edge So my soul can be able to rest And I wonder what I’d find If I didn’t seek an eye for eye If I knew which judgment was mine I'd prolly have a bit more time Even with my folly I fall upwards Givin' thanks for every time it does work Visions of desires with a deep burn Only become real when the love hurts And I wonder what story will be told When the future of now grows old Hardly a moment is dull When tryna make a number outta null In this dance with the cosmos We don’t step far from our fossils World good the problem is the model And you need to pick one to follow And I wonder which one will I use It’ll always be mine to choose So the one thing that I must do Is find what illuminates truth
