So Damn Sleepy

So I grew up on insecurity avenue But I never knew The things I wanted to be Could ever be true Can I be happy with who I've become When I'm completely With the person I shun And that person is me But personally That perfectly sums up The person I'd be Except I'm hugging a tree And nothing is easy I'm struggling to be a good friend And I'm Sleepy Yes, I'm so damn Sleepy Yes, I'm so damn sleepy Wake up It's not as bad as it seems I've got a stable Job And the girl of my dreams So I stand up But I tear at the seams Plagued with dark thoughts And a low self esteem
