The Seeds I've Sown

Well it has become an angry world out there And I have no idea of how not to care It ain't in my DNA nor in a waking breath To let it all pass me by without giving it my best We're being pushed aside discounted and unheard What was always under cover now runs amongst the herd yeah Like the man's song said I won't back down I won't tire of the struggle I won't run from the hounds I gotta take my stand and clearly make it known I have to tend to the fields of the seeds I've sown I gotta tend to the fields of the seeds I've sown yeah I can't help but feel a sense of despair How'd it get this far a state of disrepair Clearly its a mess there ain't no easy way out Push has come to shove is what its all about We're being pushed aside behind closed doors While they tally up the numbers keeping their own score We're being pushed aside for a better way so they say By those who serve themselves with history nye a say
