Slow Down

I have been on this road before, enough that I should be sure, of how fast, and how far, and which star to follow. But the fog is rolling in, now I can’t see where the road begins, so I trust, that I must, know where to go. I wanna move quick, but it’s too thick. I wanna get there fast, maybe this won’t last. So I pump the brakes, and I start to shake. I gotta slow down. I wanna move quick, but it’s too thick. So I spin the wheel, and I start to feel, it slow down. I don’t recognize this place, the foreign feeling flies in the face, of everything that I had planned for. So why try to fight it? When I could just ride it?
