My favorite gift was a lego kit open it Follow directions once it’s done you hopin it Takes you far away an imaginary place I haven’t visit in a while will they recall my face Probably not Imagination isn’t what it was Now it’s spends time just creating a buzz But the bees don’t fly and the birds don’t sing All that glitters ain’t gold even my gold ring What’s the odds I ever go back there To a moment where reality was so impaired Race around the coffee table with a hot wheels car Jump in the ocean or a planet it was not that far Any one I wanted I was rolling in style Had more than J Leno built them up into a pile A new adventure would follow me tomorrow But then I woke up no more time for me to borrow I’m a rockstar with comedy no apologies We build monopolies with fake money and rotten trees Skyscrapers overlooking what we wish we had Eating overpriced meals no just saying bad McDonald’s for the chicken Wendy’s for the fries who cares about calories get it super sized Last trip is still sitting in my cupholder Where’d that dunks come from yeah it’s much older colder by the second who touched the worlds thermostat On the road to destruction no turning back Excuse the intermission my rendition seems a little off Crisscrossed on the map before you get lost Or get tossed in a parallel dimension looking at yourself unsure of your intentions It’s unconventional but who are you to say no Say no / Ya I didn’t think so
