Belle was quite the gem, she was a diamond in the ruff And her beauty took my breath away, it was more than enough And under that tat sleeve is the girl that I once knew But she went off the rails, as many of us do But, I don’t know her anymore Thought I knew her more When we were young all the guys they looked her way But she never ever gave me the time of day Then Belle went stealin' at the age of 16 All the boys chasing her, they started to be mean But I don’t know her anymore I though I knew her more Rehabilitation is where they thought they had their way All that now brings us is to the present day I heard rumors about a pretty girl who fell Once I heard about her ring, knew it was my Belle Saw it posted she had fun with some random girl Now I think she’s taking us for a whirl Thought that when I was young, I could shoot my shot But I sat down on the bench and cried a whole damn lot But I don’t know her anymore Though I knew her more I though I knew her more
