I really want to win your heart For a chance to have true love But since you're away All I ever do is pray above I want to see those pure loving eyes Looking into my devoted heart To call upon the stars above On why we'll never part Those soft lips being pressed upon mine My fingers, running slowly down your hair A bouquet of roses to see your beautiful smile As you talk about your day there I never thanked you for loving a fool like me For having me love you tonight My darling, I want your love close to me As I will keep it tight I don't want you to ever feel alone You can always call me up, night or day You can always have your arms around me tight And I'll be there to hear what you say Morning time comes and I'm looking at our bed Slowly realizing that's where you once put your head I read all your postcards and love letters from Paris And I pray that cupid keeps you as my happiness Happy Valentine day, my love
