You Are the Tide

Lord I love my honey The problem is the bees They all die when they sting Or flee until spring LA gardens and sunlight The smell of Jasmin leaves But when you're gone I feel weak Is there nothing left to seek? Or am I just dying all the time? A slow death that rises and declines Now you are the tide I used to find it funny The pain and misery Down here the sky is seldom dark I should not miss you at all My shrink says I should try and heal my mind But my body grows weak with a desire Now you are the tide Thought I needed a holiday But the nightmares just follow me awake And I'm farther from you now Palm trees are the skyline Sunset sirens blare But it seems quiet to me Cuz you are all I see Am I just trying to deny That the trials in life have no reasons or whys Now you are the tide
