I made more on the day that my album dropped than I did the whole of last year And that's bragging rights but is bragging right when you still give in to your fear See I've had a son and I've found a girl but still focusing on my woes And I found that even though you might feel the cons your whole life is still about pros And I've got ex's, so many ex's So many stresses So many times that I tried to fight but got broken down like it's Tetris I was so determined to be a man that I lost myself and got desperate And when Sam was born I got scared cos I know that kids become your reflections. And the fact that I had no father figure, it turned me into this further figure. I knew I had to make cash for him whether a CEO or a garden digger And when I can't deliver, shit That's like a punch to the heart I never had much from the start but I still took risks in the way that I trusted my art And that shit was hard, that shit was bleak See I had no money to eat, but I still made sure he had socks on his feet.
