Testimony

The story goes I wasn't that old I was just a baby The doctor had his doubts couldn't figure out what was going on with me My mother fell out crying daddy fell down to his knees Singing lord I'll do what you want me to just heal my son please And when that doctor came and told my daddy things would be okay He'd make sure I knew to stand in front of you and be not ashamed to say Look at me I am a testimony I didn't make it on my own I'm not standing here alone It was Jesus that gave me this opportunity Making me a possibility To tell my testimony Never had stitches never had staples never broke a bone I might've had a cold I might've had a fever but it really wasn't for long Had six sets of tubes my tonsils taken out but I can still hear and sing The devil tried his best to shut me up but y'all I gotta tell my story Of when that doctor came and told my daddy things would be okay He'd make sure I knew to stand in front of you and be not ashamed to say Look at me I am a testimony I didn't make it on my own I'm not standing here alone It was Jesus that gave me this opportunity Making me a possibility To tell my testimony Oh I thank the lord that my daddy gave his life up for little ole me Given me the opportunity To tell my testimony
